The whole NOE CPC team was recognised for its role in providing a valuable public sector service by receiving highly commended status in the GO Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2016/17.

GO Excellence in Public Procurement Awards 2016/17 - FINALIST: Best Service Award – Health and Social Care Organisations

NOE CPC was shortlisted on behalf of the whole NOE CPC team in recognition of quality and innovation in service delivery and a commitment to customer satisfaction, savings and continual improvement addressing issues such as efficiency and sustainability.

HCSA 2015/16 - WINNER: Excellence in Healthcare Commissioning Support Award

This award is for a healthcare commissioning contracting or procurement initiative that has made a demonstrable improvement in the delivery of patient care.

NOE CPC won the award for its bespoke project in partnership with NHS England and National Offender Management Services (NOMS), for the procurement of new Personality Disorder Services into separate prison settings, along with a mentoring and advocacy service as part of the Government’s objective to improve the management of offenders with personality disorders.

HCSA 2015/16 - WINNER: Procurement and Supply Chain Management Collaboration Award

This award recognises the NHS procurement/supply chain management team and its partner organisation (private or public sector) which through the development of a collaborative partnership can demonstrate some or all of the following:

Efficiency gains that are quantifiable in real cash terms

Tangible service improvement benefits

Key characteristics of this successful collaboration

Innovative and sustainable attributes developed through the partnership

Transferability and ease of adoption by other partnerships within the NHS

Measures taken to successfully engage NHS stakeholders within the customer organisation

NOE CPC won this award for its Medical and Surgical Equipment Maintenance and Calibration framework, which provides access to a full range of maintenance and calibration solutions for business critical lifesaving medical equipment.

HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards 2015 - WINNER: Value and Improvement in Procurement

The awards demsontrate recognition and celebration for all the organisations making steps to greatly improve efficiency and value, in both back office functions and clinical initiatives in healthcare.

2015 was a record breaking year for entries with more organisations than ever before demonstrating that they are striving to improve value and efficiency in healthcare. From 532 entries, 140 organisations were shortlisted and 21 organisations have been judged to be leading the way in this increasingly important area. 

NOE CPC was recognised for its work as part of the NHS Collaborative Procurement Partnership (NHS CPP) for its Total Orthopaedic Solutions framework.

NOE CPC was shortlisted for for its Medical Equipment Maintenance framework with Philips Healthcare. We were also shortlisted for our collaborative framework for Nursing and Nursing Related Staff
