The NHS continues to face significant workforce challenges and agency workers continue to play an important role in supporting during these challenging times; however, some worrying trends appear to be developing around off-payroll working (IR35).
To raise awareness of the obligations on NHS organisations and agencies / employment businesses when engaging / placing temporary workers, NHS Workforce Alliance will be hosting a webinar on Thursday 26th June 2025 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. In partnership with colleagues at HMRC the webinar will provide some useful guidance.

- HMRC’s Check Employment Status for Tax (CEST) tool
- Status Determination Statements (SDS)
- Service vs Resource considerations
