As part of our Digital Matters month, our Senior Category Manager for Technology, Alison Petrie, provides an update on our ICT category:

“Despite challenging market conditions and global cost pressures, it has been an exciting few years and months for the NOE CPC ICT Category team, which has grown in capacity and expertise in order to adapt and create opportunities while maintaining a reliable service to our customers.

“The NHS digital agenda at a local, regional and national level continues to be under focus and strategically it is important that NOE CPC is part of these developments, both immediate and in the future.

“Our team has grown to ensure we can continue to put the needs of our customers and suppliers first, and the recent launch of Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) will bring further opportunities for innovation, collaboration and development.

“With the introduction of Supplier Relationship Management support into NOE CPC, aligned to the ICT category, along with a dedicated End User Device Category Manager, we intend to drive both NHS customer and supplier opportunities and feel these additions to our capabilities will enhance our delivery across the category.

“The pending new NOE CPC framework Total Technology Solutions (TTS) is currently being concluded and will replace our IT Enterprise Solutions framework. The framework is due to launch early September and will offer the ability to purchase a wide range of non-clinical IT infrastructure hardware, software, and services both in isolation and in any combination as part of a complete solution.

“The framework will enable the delivery of complete IT solutions from a range of capable and compliant suppliers in these markets.

“The expertise and capability within the NOE CPC ICT category has grown extensively over recent years and months and we continue to reach out to NHS customers to offer support and opportunities to collaborate and deliver benefits to the NHS when buying a wider range of goods and services.

“If you wish to meet the team and discuss how they can support you in your own or regional ICT buying activities, please contact the team via the NOE CPC helpdesk."
