Blog: Quality is at the heart of everything we do
Our focus for July is #QualityMatters. In this blog, Sally Bratley, Senior Product Assurance and Contract Manager, discusses how quality is at the heart of everything we do, as a continuous thread within every project, contract and enquiry we deal with.
Quality is more than a word at NOE CPC; it is our guiding principle and a promise we uphold in our contract delivery to the NHS Supply Chain: Facilities and Office Solutions. With the recent launch of our new contract, we are reinforcing our steadfast commitment to ingrained quality throughout every facet of our procurement process.
As the newly appointed Senior Product Assurance and Contract Manager within the Category Management Service, I am invigorated by the challenge to further weave the golden thread of quality throughout every procurement exercise, bespoke project, and customer enquiry we handle. My responsibilities extend to leading our dedicated helpdesk team, a group that truly personifies our commitment to excellence, handling customer enquiries with determination and a fervent drive for positive outcomes.
While I am proud of our achievements with the preceding contract, I am eager to ensure we are not complacent. Our aim is to augment existing processes, developing innovative solutions that are in direct response to our valued customers' feedback. This adaptability enables us to continuously evolve to meet shifting demands over the lifetime of our agreements.
Currently, our commitment to quality is exemplified by our involvement in the NHS National Healthcare Uniform project. We have been diligently working on this project for nearly four years and have sought comprehensive feedback from various key stakeholders. Their invaluable insights continue to shape every stage of this project, ensuring a final uniform design that meets the diverse needs of our frontline workers.
Looking ahead, we are excited about further exploring areas like Medical Device Regulations (MDR), CE Marking and UKCA Marking. In addition, a key achievement of ours has been attaining ISO9001 and ISO27001 accreditations, a significant endeavour that embodied our ongoing commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. We will be elaborating more on these accreditations later in this newsletter.
Our future also holds a commitment to keep pace with evolving procurement regulations, sharing crucial outcomes and best practices with you, and our newly appointed Sustainability Leads will work diligently to integrate the principles of sustainability and social value into every procurement exercise.
Our commitment to quality is not simply about meeting standards, but about exceeding them. It is our pledge to you, and it fuels our drive for continual improvement across all aspects of our work at NOE CPC.
