So, without further ado, let's get to know our April Booth a little better!

1. What is your role within Supply Chain? I’m the Category Procurement Specialist for the Environmental Decontamination Framework. I’m also working on a new framework for Water Purification. 2. What does your job involve? Environmental Decontamination is a fairly new framework for the NHS so there is a huge amount of potential to develop the framework to ensure we are providing the most relevant and best products to our trusts. Having recently taken on this role, I am working closely with our Marketing Team to share key information about the framework with our customers, and our Implementation and Adoption Team to understand what trusts need and how we can best support them through this framework. |

As the Water Purification framework doesn’t yet exist, I am working with a range of experts in the field to create ideal product lots and specifications. This will lead to preparing an appropriate sourcing strategy for the framework tender.
3. What do you enjoy most about your role?
I find my categories especially interesting, I’m really enjoying throwing myself into learning as much as I can about them both. With so much information out there and the opportunity to learn from experts with vast knowledge, I’m excited to see where I can take the frameworks.
I get great job satisfaction knowing that I’m genuinely making a difference to our NHS, ensuring the trusts are prepared and equipped with the products to provide a safe, sterile environment for staff and patients.
