Looking ahead at the next 12 months with our Implementation & Adoption Team
2025 promises to be a year of change and development within the procurement landscape. The Procurement Act implementation is on the horizon and cost pressures on trusts will continue to present a challenge. Head of Implementation and Adoption Liessa Newnham looks ahead to what the next 12 months will bring.
"2025 presents a lot of challenges with trusts continuing to experience cost pressures, and the introduction of new procurement rules mean it will be more important than ever for our team to share knowledge and experience and to help trusts navigate their way through their options.
"As the new year begins, my team and I are looking forward to continuing to work with our customers and supporting them in their workplans. Our team has changed with the addition of Gaadha Jayaprakash looking after the southern region, who is settling in well, and Joshua Wardell, whose efforts going above and beyond for customers were recognised by the whole NOE CPC team, naming him the 2024 Champion of Champions of the staff awards. The Implementation and Adoption team will continue to offer our skills, experience, and support to trusts.
"The Facilities and Office Solutions procurement team are planning to launch six new frameworks in 2025, and my team will be working closely with customers to identify areas of potential savings and finding the right product, at the right price at the right time for their trust. The NOE CPC hub team will also be launching a number of new framework agreements, and you can read more about these below.
"Our frameworks offer trusted suppliers, compliance and competitive pricing and our team can offer cost analysis across our range of products, from paper hygiene to disposable curtains. My team are happy to have these conversations with trusts to explore opportunities.
"Our NHS Healthcare Uniforms project continues to develop; our pathfinder trusts have been essential in supporting us to get to this point, and their dedication, sacrifice, time, and efforts which have helped us to address the challenges cannot be overstated and has helped to streamline processes and create a robust uniform solution for the NHS workforce.
"We know that the challenges facing the healthcare community will continue, budgets are tighter than ever, and the NOE CPC team are committed to working in partnership with our customers across all our categories to deliver solutions which meet trust requirements and strengthen relationships with our collaborative partners, all with the goal of continuing great service to the NHS.
"We look forward to another year of working with you."
