Our Quick Quote tool is proving to be a great asset for procurement professionals
We launched our Quick Quote tool last October and it is already proving to be a great asset for users of our IT Hardware and Services (LINK3) framework.
The easy-to-use tool enables you to send details of your specific requirements to awarded suppliers in whichever Lots you choose so they can contact you directly with a quote that meets your needs.
Duncan Lean, a buyer at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust, told us how the tool had improved his experience.
He said: “The Quick Quote tool is a brilliant asset for procurement professionals, and I would highly recommend it to other NHS trusts as an effective route to market for both large and small-scale purchases.
“It is very easy to use and saves me so much time in the sourcing process, especially with IT procurement, where many vendors offer identical off-the-shelf products.”
Using the Quick Quote tool is simple. Just visit the IT Hardware and Services (LINK3) framework page and you will see the Quick Quote tab in green. Select the tab and complete the form. If you are not logged in, you will be prompted to do so.
The form will be sent to the suppliers on the Lots you have chosen and a copy will be emailed to you for your records. The suppliers will then respond to you directly with their quotes using the contact information you provided. The tool offers you a convenient solution to quickly contact all relevant suppliers in one simple form, saving you time.
If you do not have a website account, which you will need to access the tool, you can easily select Create New Account to register for one.
IT Hardware and Services (LINK3) is a free to access framework for the NHS and wider public sector.
It covers all end user device requirements including desktop PC’s, laptops, tablet devices, printers and specialist healthcare related IT Hardware such as laptop carts and clinical displays.
We are hoping to add the Quick Quote tool to more NOE CPC frameworks in the future as part of our expanding digital toolkit.
