#Procurement Express: Renewal and expansion of category management service

In July 2024, we marked the first anniversary of the Facilities and Office Solutions category management service provider contract. The contract was a renewal of the facilities offering NOE CPC had been supplying on behalf of NHS Supply Chain for the previous five years and expanded to include office solutions, welcoming in colleagues from Crown Commercial Service.
Kevin Chidlow, Category Director said: “2024 has been a year of tremendous change within our team. We have expanded our remit to include the office solutions category and welcomed in new people to our team with fresh ideas and bringing an expanded offering to our customers.
“The creation of new positions and the addition of new team members has enabled us to focus on other areas including sustainability, social value, supplier relations and innovation.
“While the range of products we offer is diverse, as a team we all have the same goal; to deliver benefit back to the NHS. We have a shared goal of delivering excellence within procurement and category management.”
As we move forward into 2025, we will continue developing and investing in the talents of our team during the contract and I know that will help us achieve our goals in the coming years.”
