Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust utilise ICT Solutions for successful EPR award
NOE CPC are proud to have supported our customers, Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust, to award a contract for consultancy services to support their Electronic Patient Record (EPR) programme through our ICT Solutions Delivery framework.
The agreement was launched as part of an expansion of our Technology category in November 2020 and offers multidisciplinary solutions to the NHS and public sector bodies. Our Technology procurement team carried out extensive research into NHS spend for ICT consultancy services and market research into suppliers. As a result, we developed this agreement allowing trusts to access a range of quality consultancy providers with proven expertise and health industry experience.
As well as providing an easy-to-use route to market, the framework offers flexibility to meet ad-hoc ICT consultancy requirements and address future technology needs.
Many customers have benefitted from support through our category team and utilising their market knowledge, such as Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust who were assisted through their further competition process to appoint Apira for their EPR programme.
Alison Petrie, Senior Category Manager – Technology (ICT) at NOE CPC said: “We are incredibly proud of the service NOE CPC delivers and the expertise of our team. Our ICT Consultancy framework agreement offers a comprehensive solution to NHS organisations ensuring value and compliance. We are delighted utilising the framework has had such a positive outcome for our colleagues at Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust and that Apira found working with us to be straight forward and supportive.”
Nicola Woodhead, Head of Procurement at Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust added: “Having recently moved into the Head of Procurement role at SHSC, it was important to select a partner that could safely help to develop a strong and robust business case and carefully navigate the procurement process.
“Apira’s background and experience was an ideal match for what we were looking for and we were pleased to secure their services via the NOE CPC framework following a rigorous competitive process.”
Alan Brown, Director of Professional Services at Apira Ltd said: “We were very proud to be awarded a place on the NOE CPC ICT Solutions Delivery framework for Professional Services and Consultancy Support and were pleased to have been successful in our bid to provide support to Sheffield Health and Social care. This was our first bid through the new NOE CPC framework – the process was very straight forward, and we would recommend it to other Trusts seeking to procure consultancy services. This framework is a great vehicle dedicated to the types of services required by NHS care providers.”
